Privacy Policy

UseMe is an internal workforce management application used by companies to manage attendance, employees, leave requests, and expenses. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Depending on your company’s configuration and how you use the app, we may collect:

• Account & profile data: user ID, name, email (if available), phone number, role, department, position, branch assignment.
• Attendance data: check-in/check-out times, branch, and (when branch range enforcement is enabled) your precise location (latitude/longitude) and calculated distance to the branch.
• Photos & files you upload: profile photo, QR image uploads, leave attachments, and expense receipts or attachments (images/PDFs).
• Push notification data: device push token (FCM/APNs via the native app or web push where supported), and optional device identifier/user agent to help manage tokens.
• Usage & security logs: login history (e.g. platform/browser, IP address, user agent) and basic operational logs to help prevent abuse and troubleshoot issues.
• Feedback: message content and related context you provide (and may include name/email/phone).
• Expense data: expense details and amounts entered by users, plus attached receipts/files.

• Provide core functionality (attendance check-in/out, leave requests, expenses, employee directory).
• Enforce company rules (e.g., branch assignment and optional GPS distance/range validation).
• Send notifications and updates (push notifications, and optional integration notifications such as Telegram where enabled).
• Maintain security and prevent abuse (authentication, session controls, login history).
• Customer support and troubleshooting.

• Camera: to scan QR codes for attendance and login flows.
• Location (precise/approximate): used for branch range validation when enabled by your company.
• Notifications: to deliver push notifications (Android 13+ requires runtime permission).

We may share data with service providers used to operate the app:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging) to store and deliver app data and notifications.

If enabled by your company, the app can also send operational notifications to Telegram (for example attendance events or feedback notifications).

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service to your company and comply with legal and operational requirements. Your company administrators may be able to view and manage certain records (e.g., attendance, expenses, leave).

We use industry-standard security measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

UseMe is intended for workplace use and is not directed to children under 13.

• You can deny optional permissions (some features may not work without them, e.g., location-based check-in rules).
• You can request account or data deletion (see the “Delete account” page).
